All roads long and paved, striped as not to cause may-day.
Big birds land and take people away to places far far away.
With terminals from A to T and twelve caracals of bags
Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport, nothing it lags.
People come from all over the world, from all walks of life,
Traveling through this maze of gates and doors, even in their strife.
Every day of the year, this place is the gateway to people’s heaven
And on this special Saturday afternoon, we will see who’s at gate B11.

A boy, not very high, stands with his parents by his side, hugging him tight
Mother blowing kisses, father saying, “Now don’t forget to write”.
Bags all around, of every shape, color and size
Full to the top with sweatshirts, socks and mom’s homemade apple pies.
Elliot Sams was the boy’s name and he had seen eighteen summers go by
And in this nineteenth year of life, he was moving onto Alpha Psi.
UCLA was his top choice and new home, so far away from all he’d known
The tuition was so high; he had to get a student loan.
Nervous as he was, Elliot couldn’t wait to leave behind the parents, who made him irate
At the B11 departure gate.  

Standing up, strait and tall, with slicked back hair, holding a pillow
Stood Stan Snetsky, a businessman from North Pikipsy, Idaho.
Charcoal gray with blue pin stripes, and a tie the color of forest green
Stan’s power suit and tie made him look like a lean, mean, corporate machine.
Little does he know that the destination which awaits
Is not a business meeting, but a much needed escape.
His wife and secretary have set up this little trip without him even knowing
When he gets there, will it be a fit he is throwing?
Waiting at the arrival gate, on the other end of the four hour flight
His wife of twenty years waits to take him away for a romantic night.

Two giddy honeymooners, strait out of the gate
Bid well-wishers goodbye as they toast their wedding date.
Doug and Sharon are very much in love and more then a tad drunk
They giggle, nuzzle and kiss, shocking a nearby monk.
Their ultimate destination is Hawaii, one can tell from their tropical dress
Then Doug spills his complimentary champagne all over Sharon, making a mess.
A few harsh words and a stack of napkins later
Doug and Sharon talk of their plans to visit the volcanic crater.
Little do they know that a giant tsunami will cause a flood
Drenching their honeymoon plans with lots of mud.

Elliot Sams lasted a full semester, before his homesickness started to fester.
He transferred back to his hometown school, and fell in love with Esther.
Stan Snetsky from North Pikipsy, was not delighted with his wife’s surprise
Because she had used it to cover up her affairs and lies.
Doug and Sharon learned many ways to enjoy the grime
With baths, sleds, and deep cleansing body wraps, they enjoyed their time.
